Luis Enrique Zela-Koort (1994) is an artist and researcher observing technological responses to biases that would otherwise be cataloged as objective truth; analyzing the ideological instrumentalization of science, mythology, and identity.
Other Fictions presents a critical deconstruction of sci-fi discourse and scientific speculation through the lenses of the global south. Integrating digital and traditional processes, the works question the anesthetic properties of futuristic aesthetics as political tools in times of crisis.
