N.A.S.A.L. presents TeatroH, a solo presentation by Emilio Bianchic, with a manifesto by Ana Castella.
Emilio Bianchic (1990, Uruguay) works at the intersections of nature, culture, and identity, playing with their impossibilities and absurdities through small-scale videos and performances. His practice seeks to hack standardized behaviors and expected outcomes, using confusion, awkwardness, and humor as tools for queering everyday actions. Recipient of Uruguay’s National Art Prize (Premio Nacional de Artes Visuales) in 2018, he currently lives and works in CDMX.
