To move through the exhibition is to enter such a circuit: familiar categories return without recovering their former authority, and speculation begins in the difference between what returns and what may yet become.
There are journeys summarized in the direction one faces upon return. Geometry calls this holonomy: carried around a closed path, a thing arrives where it began with its orientation altered, the curvature of the whole route gathered into a single angle. Mechanics knows it as the turn a cycle leaves behind; light carries it as a shift in phase. What cannot be seen along the way becomes legible in the difference carried back. Orientation thus becomes both record and capacity: it bears what has occurred while defining the directions that remain possible. History enters the present not as what is preserved but as the way another future may take form. Return does not restore the origin; it alters the standpoint from which the origin can be understood.
Holonomía proposes seeing form through passage between volume and plane, object and model, inheritance and speculation. Passage is not simply represented; it enters the operations through which forms emerge, altering the categories it connects and allowing the interval between them to take on a logic of its own. These movements redistribute rather than cancel what came before. Scale becomes relational, function becomes contingent, and dimensionality appears as an orientation enacted through movement rather than as an a priori assumption.
